Frome Comic Con is back on the weekend of 12th - 13th August 2017.

Saturday 12th: Heroes and Villains football match at Frome Football Club from 12-1pm. This will be a charity event with all proceeds going to Time is Precious. Donations to enter. The Frome Comic Con Opening Party at Rook Lane Chapel. Be the first to see some of the action with Batman's new ride from Podpadstudios and the hero/villains of GCUK. There are two sections - The first is the family time of 5-7pm, Adults £5, Children £3. The second is adult only from 7.30pm priced at £10 each where the over 18 content will happen. Party in 'Wayne's Manor 'and expects some unexpected goings on with special guests.

Sunday 13th: The big event will be on the Sunday from 10am -4pm. There will be traders and exhibitors at the Cheese & Grain as well as our guest David Prowse and other sights, entertainment, vehicles, costumers and activities all at only £4 entry. This is also the day when other venues and establishments will be theming up including the Archangel as Star Wars, Cordero Lounge as DC, Black Swan Arts are back with the comic book artists and writers. Frome's New Venue are back with their Retro Gaming, The Harry Potter theme returns to The Three Swans, Covers Vinyl, Sam's Kitchen Deli and Extra Life Video Game Bar will also be getting involved - not to mention all the streets to be occupied on the day with many visitors and cosplayers.

We are also working with Frome Library and Word Up to have a special focus on literacy in Frome whereby we will have some fantastic activities relating to graphic novels and word treasure hunts around the town building up from the beginning of August - We have the Ghostbusters occupying the library as well as special fictional characters to read to the children. Oh and don't forget there are only 40 tickets available for an exclusive Q&A with David Prowse in the evening between 7-8pm priced at £20 each.

All pre-purchased tickets and wristbands will be sent out at the end of July.

We have our Superhero Kid Club running two weeks prior to the event Mon-Fri 9am-3pm at only £20 per child per day. They can make costumes for the Comic Con, draw comics and get involved in the Superhero games too. All teachers have an enhanced DBS. If you are interested, contact us through the website or email
